Karen creates the warm and inviting vision of k+co LIVING with new resources and fresh design perspectives. As the principal designer, Karen has had a fulfilling career forecasting trends and over the past decade designing residential homes.

Karen is known for her expertise and keen eye for elevated coastal design and is a go-to expert in the media for some of the latest trends. Layers of color and pattern plus finishes and textures are the hallmarks of Karen’s design aesthetic. Karen believes that every project deserves a little sparkle, a little color, something natural and lots of love.

Born and raised in the Midwest, Mandy moved to California as a teenager. Her California roots are evident in her earth-toned designs, tailored to each client while respecting the architecture. She began her career in film and television before transitioning to interior design in 2013. Since then, she has been named to the AD 100 list four years in a row and is one of Los Angeles' most sought-after interior designers. Sophisticated yet comfortable and approachable, Mandy’s designs seamlessly blend beauty with purpose and functionality.
