ATLANTA / LAS VEGAS / HIGH POINT, N.C. – (May 3, 2021) – With COVID restrictions easing and business returning to more normal operations, International Market Centers’ May 2021 “Market Insights” webinar will explore the ways that retailers are preparing for consumers’ return to their stores. The hour-long “Back to Business: Attracting Buyers Back to In-Person Visits” session will be on May 12.
“When the pandemic disrupted normal business operations, brick and mortar retailers were forced to pivot to maintain customer connections and commerce. Now, as the nation shifts towards recovery, it’s important for retailers to think of innovative ways to welcome consumers back to their stores,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC’s chief customer and marketing officer. “The May Market Insights will present practical and proven steps that retailers have taken to prepare for the physical return of customers.”
During “Back to Business: Attracting Buyers Back to In-Person Visits,” four retailers will discuss ways to bring the consumer experience back into stores – including information about how they have maintained and increased in-store buying, merchandising tips and incentives for their storefronts. Presented in partnership with Home News Now, the panel discussion features Ron Bailey, owner of Bailey’s Furniture in Anchorage, Alaska; Randy Coconis, president of Coconis Furniture in Zanesville, Ohio; Donna McCollough, co-owner of Dove Christian Supply in Dothan, Alabama; and Paul Zang, retail manager for The Cook’s Warehouse in Atlanta. Clint Engel, editor-in-chief of Home News Now, will be the panel moderator.
The webinar is Wednesday, May 12 at 10 am. PDT/1 p.m. EDT. Free registration is available online at https://imcenters.zoom.us/webinar/register/1816155764646/WN_aMWjWHoRR7yysFkZkq_D5Q. Attendees will earn 1.0 CEU credit.
