This exclusive seminar studies the fundamental need we have as humans for beauty and aesthetics. Sources for the discussion include Johns Hopkins University, Boston Architectural College and additional medical industry sources that document the fact that beauty and design improve health. The science of proper lighting is a special focus. The course looks at the historical valuation of aesthetics and compares it to the devaluing of aesthetics over the last 100 years.
